Pictured Rocks Trip Day 3 - August 10, 2018
My second day on the island I finished hiking the 10 mile or so loop, heading back into town. Since it was Friday, the local campgrounds were all packed. Luckily one place was able to squeeze me in. On the recommendation of one of the staff there, I went to an awesome bar where I ate one of the most amazing ribeye steaks I have ever had. Of course, following that, I had to go get stuck in the sand. Literally. On my way back to the campsite, I took a turn onto what appeared to be an access road leading to the beach. Turns out it leads to a lot of sand fairly fast. I succeeded in getting my motorcycle stuck. Thankfully I was able to flag down a passing motorist, who helped me get out. Thank you, whoever you are!
