Backpacking in Steamboat Day 4 - July 10, 2019

Because of the snow, we were hesitant to do our original loop. Instead we did a shorter one and made it out by day's end. Still a lot of snow, we spent a good amount of time trying to find the actual trail at times. Anyway, we went across Devil's Causeway for a mile, then proceeded onto the Chinese Wall Trail for 2.1 miles. After that it was 4 miles of Bear River Trail. Realistically we probably did closer to 10 miles of hiking, though, with the detours and searching. Did I mention there was a lot of snow? Go go gadget wet boots. We spent the night in the Bear Lake national forest campground.
