B17G - July 2, 2010
A kick-ass fully restored B-17G Fortress visited Purdue's campus for a few days. The thing is insane - one massive, airborn death machine, impressive and terrifying all at once. I and a few friends paid to take a tour of it. You could also pay to go for a flight, but sadly that was orders of magnitude more expensive. Regardless, a cool experience. The airplane has its own website too - b17.org!
