Backpacking Hetch Hetchy Day 1 - June 3, 2016
First day of an awesome backpacking trip in the Hetch Hetchy Wilderness Area in Yosemite National Park! I left at O'Shaughnessy Dam, hiking one mile to a switchback that then took me 1.8 miles and 1,150 ft up in elevation. I made it another 2 miles or so to a small lake south west of Beehive. There was a beautiful camping spot surrounded by trees and grass where I put up for the night.
