My New PC - May 13, 2003
Mmmmm. New computer. Yes, it's a Dell. Yes, I can build my own computer. In fact, I've got a bunch that I've built myself. So to you morons that insist that you have to build your own computer every time you get one, @#$% off. I got this computer way, way below what it was supposed to cost because of an extraordinary discount through Purdue University. Plus, it came with an 18" flatpanel monitor. It's a 2.8GHz Pentium 4 (533MHz FSB) with an 80GB primary hard drive (Seagate Barracuda ATA/100, 7200rpm). It has 512MB of RAM (266MHz DDR), a 32MB Radeon VE Dual-Headed video card (yes, I know, it kind of sucks, but it's decent), integrated gigabit NIC, 48X CDRW Drive, 16X DVD-ROM Drive, and a SB Live! 5.1 Digital Sound Card. I also added a 120GB Western Digital Drive (also ATA/100, 7200rpm) for additional storage space.
